Madurai (Tamil Nadu), May 12, 2025 (ANI): Kallazhagar Chithirai Festival is being celebrated in Madurai – Lord Kallazhagar will enter the Vaigai River as the last part of the world-renowned Madurai Chithirai Festival. Thirumaliruncholai, also known as Southern Tirupati and one of the 108 sacred Vaishnavite shrines, is located at the foothills of Alagasr Hills in Madurai district. The Chithirai festival of the Kallazhagar Temple began on the 8th of this month.
